Babylon Fields - Rejected CBS Pilot
CBS rejected this pilot, but I thought it seemed like it would make a pretty good series. Maybe it will be reconsidered for a midseason replacement.

After airing showtime’s ‘Dexter’ which was also a Cuesta product, you would think CBS would know better than to turn this down. OK, so it’s a little far fetched, but the Cuesta boys make it believeable, creepy and funny. This is just what the mediocre media needs. But, alas, they’d rather air a rediculous vampire cop show. I guess a public that votes for George Bush and David Cook doesn’t deserve any better.

Wow. Love it. Was this shopped around to other networks? Perhaps this is something AMC or Sci-Fi would pick up. I’ll admit, the premise sounded goofy. But the pilot is just fab. And dammit, now I want to see more!
