Babylon Fields – Rejected CBS Pilot

CBS rejected this pilot, but I thought it seemed like it would make a pretty good series.  Maybe it will be reconsidered for a midseason replacement.

  3. After airing showtime’s ‘Dexter’ which was also a Cuesta product, you would think CBS would know better than to turn this down. OK, so it’s a little far fetched, but the Cuesta boys make it believeable, creepy and funny. This is just what the mediocre media needs. But, alas, they’d rather air a rediculous vampire cop show. I guess a public that votes for George Bush and David Cook doesn’t deserve any better.

  4. Wow. Love it. Was this shopped around to other networks? Perhaps this is something AMC or Sci-Fi would pick up. I’ll admit, the premise sounded goofy. But the pilot is just fab. And dammit, now I want to see more!

  5. this needs to be retried atleast, refilm the screener with some more explosive features and better thought out direction
    yeah it gives a hint to bloodlust but still it doesnt tell us anything
    i mean it would be great if there were good zombies and bad zombies
    now that would be a good series or at least a mini one
    just like mark said a vampire cop show is just as stupid as the premise of this show and more interesting as in babylon fields is more interesting
    but i would think if the zombies got some benefit from drinking blood or eating flesh you know like their eyes returning to normal and skin regaining its former beauty that way after a while you could not tell the regular from the zombies to make a real dilema and maybe the good zombies as in the more likeable characters such as the husband of that one chick would maybe live off of animal meat or something but not get as much benefits from eating the flesh of humans and might get weaker and stuff but there is alot you could do with this, This show has the potential to be one of the best, too bad they didnt give me a call lol
