Obscure Bands – Golden Earring

I’m not sure how “Obscure” you can call Golden Earring considering the success of their hit “Radar Love”, but when I mention Golden Earring to anyone, they say “Who?”. But when I respond, “you know, Radar Love”, they say “Ah”. In my opinion, they made a lot of great music, I own several of their albums.

My favorite song of theirs is “The Twilight Zone”, the lyrics are just awesome, heres a sample:

Somewhere in a lonely hotel room
there’s a guy starting to realize
That eternal fate has turned it’s back on him
It’s two a.m.

It’s two a.m. the fear has gone
I’m sitting here waitin’ the gun still warm
Maybe my connection is tired of taken chances
Yeah there’s a storm on the loose sirens in my head
I’m wrapped up in silence all circuits are dead
I cannot decode
my whole life spins into a frenzy.

When the Lady Smiles

The Devil Made Me Do It

Quiet Eyes

going to the run

No for an answer

Love is a loser

Back home

Ce Soir

Buddy Joe

Just A Little Bit of Peace

Turn the world around

Dong Dong Diki Diki Dong
